How to make Crunchy Slime.

Disclosure: Bear in mind that some of the links in this post are affiliate links and if you go through them to make a purchase I will earn a commission. Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.

Preparing the slime activator, using the borax powder:

In 1 cup (230ml) of warm water, add 1 table spoon (5g) of Borax. Mix it in well, and poor it into a safe bottle and in a safe place out or reach of the children. this is called your Slime activator. You will only need 5 grams of borax for the about 50kg of slime.

Making Crunchy Slime or Playfoam.

  1. Fill the bowls with 100ml

  2. Colour the slime, using food colouring.

  3. Add two cups of shaving foam, but not overflowing

  4. You can mix and when slime is one uniform colour, it means it is ready, you can add the 5ml of Borax Slime solution. Remember to shake the bottle.

  5. You can now mix it for about 2 minutes and start using your hands. Here is a video i made on how to make the fluffy slime :).

  6. Now your slime is ready you can add, the Microbeads. The only small enough floam balls i could find was in Microbead Travel Support Super Soft Pillow, anywhere else is too big.

  7. Add as much as you like, the more you add the less sticky it will be, for my 3 year old, I add a lot of Micro-beads to save my carpets :).
